Whether you’re new to the Monticello area or have been here a while and are looking for a brand new way to grow in faith and share the love of God with all people, we have just the right worship service for you. All are welcome!

Choose the worship service that fits you and your family best

Sunday Morning

Sunday at 9:00 a.m. is a traditional Lutheran service featuring a wonderful blend of beautiful music and practical preaching. The worship service begins with a dynamic contemporary song then as the service unfolds we sing several carefully selected traditional hymns accompanied by  beautiful organ music.

On the first and third Sundays of the month we celebrate Holy Communion as few churches do, singing together the words of institution in a beautiful song called “Remember Now My Children.” It’s something special – come and see!

WOW – Worship On Wednesday

WOW is a brand new – kid and family friendly – way of doing church; so new and different that we actually cancelled our old-fashioned Sunday morning Sunday school program and started WOW – Worship On Wednesday!

It all starts with a meal at 5:30 pm followed by a short, family friendly, half-hour worship service featuring contemporary worship music at 6:15 pm, then the “Sunday school” aged children, confirmation students (8th & 9th graders), and High School youth go to faith formation classes at 6:50 pm. It all wraps up by 7:30 so you can get the family home at a decent hour. WOW meets Sept. through April.
